Hind Algergawi
Hind Algergawi is the only female skeet shooter in the United
Arab Emirates. She is an Emirati athlete based in Dubai who
competes in ISSF Olympic Skeet (Women), a shotgun discipline shot over
eight stations between two launch houses, with clay targets crossing at
around ninety kilometres an hour.
Away from the range she is a physics graduate of Sorbonne University
Abu Dhabi and works as a business consultant. She came to shooting as a
hobby and stayed for the doubles: two clays released at speed, with no
time to think about either of them.
Her long-term goal is to compete internationally for the UAE at the
highest level the sport offers.
